Festive Cheer: a fun and successful evening! If you were with us, you know what I’m talking about.
Chantal Stefan’s new presentation about Everybody Deserves A Smile (EDAS) was super. It helped propel a very excited auction by Adam Duncan (hats off to Adam for that!). We had great items, including “Date Nights” (thanks to #WeAreYQQ rockstars like Atlas Cafe, The White Whale, and the Sid Williams Theatre), a limited edition print from Brian Scott, and a very cool “Moonshiner’s Experience” for four from Wayward Distillation House.
Before that, Step and Robin from Lucky Village Enterprises ran a social media game that gave away $100s in prizes, and Leanne from Studio IPF: Inner Pursuit Fitness gave away $100s more with her Mayhem Mixup game. Meanwhile, sparkly party goers were getting their festive portraits by Ron Pogue Photography (by $2 donation to EDAS) by the fire at Prime Chophouse. Great stuff!
I love it when we can get great exposure for the dozens of businesses – and the dozens more sponsors, partners, and subscribers – who make our events such a hit. Your prizes and your by fuelling our games and our giveaways. One of my favourite quotes of the evening, “I make more coming to these parties than I pay in tickets!” Add to that, we were raising awareness and funds for EDAS and it was an amazing evening.
